What's Included in the Inspection?

These documents can be used to obtain quotes from a foundation contractor if repair is recommended.

Recommendations

  • Water the foundation regularly - limit moisture changes within the soil
  • Maintain proper drainage around the foundation in a manner that water runs away from the foundation
  • Gutter and downspout system should discharge atleast 18 to 24 inches away from the foundation
  • Shrubs may be planted atleast 24 inches away from the foundation
  • Keep ground cover around the foundation
  • Soaker hoses may be placed atleast 18 to 24 inches away from the foundation


If your problems are fairly obvious, don' wait. The foundation will most likely get worse. Please ask us for a baseline report if the signs of distress are subtle. If you are still unsure, please feel free to call us for help.
